About Us
Cricklade Pre-School Playgroup is a registered charity and a voluntary parent management committee runs the group. We also belong to the Early Years Alliance (formerly PLA).
The Playgroup was formed in 1968 by a small group of mothers looking for their children to socialise by creating a put-away playgroup held within the Cricklade Town Hall. In 2003, the Playgroup moved to the Old Library building which allowed them to create an area where children feel happy, calm and secure.

We offer Pre-School education for children aged 2 to Primary age.
The maximum number of children in our Pre-School is 28 per session.
We are open from 7.30am to 4pm and offer breakfast to the early starters.
We offer children the opportunity to learn through play in a stimulating and nurturing environment. We recognise that every child is an individual with their own character, abilities, sense of humour and needs.
